Who’s family loves meat and potatoes and of course bread? My husband sure does!! I was inspired to try and make this meal from a place we had lunch one day in Lubbock. It’s like super easy and my mom said it tasted really good! So tonight was the night! Not sure what you call it but I know Brody is going to LOVE it!

So first you have to make meat loaf! I’m not pro at making meat loaf but I think it taste good. It’s super simple. You can definitely get a better recipe from Pinterest or maybe your mom or grandmother but here’s my super simple way. First I take a lb of hamburger meat, I add two eggs, two handfuls of oats, ketchup or tomato paste and salt and pepper.

Then I mix it together and put it in a skinny pan.

I like to add ketchup or that tomato paste on top. Then cook it in the over at 350 for about 50-60 minutes.

It comes out looking yummy!

So after that you need to make mash potatoes! I had some homemade ones left over from another meal so I used that but if you want like super easy, just buy a packet of them and add water. Whatever makes your life easy!

Then your going to need brown gravy. I just bought the packet but if your feeding more then 2 people, you’ll need to buy more than one packet.

After all of this is made… all you have left is some toast! I recommend Texas Toast but of course I didn’t have it so I used just toast with a little butter.

So this is a layer recipe. So first it the toast, then the meat loaf, then the potatoes then the gravy!

Looks like a mess but it is soooooooo good!! And of course you don’t have to stack it, you can always just put it on your plate like normal. But guys! This was super good! And I’m sure Brody is going to be over the moon! This is something easy and yummy!!! Worth the try!

Please let me know if you make it and how it taste!

PS: this is a great farm field meal!!

It looks as good as what we ate that day in Lubbock. I wish I could remember the name of the place.
