I love kimonos! It’s hard to find one you can wear here in the Texas Panhandle but I think I might of found it. Kimonos are great for anyone which is something I love about them. You can wear them to work, church, showers and weddings. You can wear them now or later, pregnant or postpartum, with clothes or a swimsuit. They are very functional!

I saw this kimono online one day and just loved it! Apparently a lot of other people did too because I’ve seen a few other bloggers post it. It’s a great transitioning piece for the closet and can be worn with so many things! I’m not much of a red person but I love how this also has some pink and orange in there. Definitely breaks up the red.

So now to put my words to the test. I’m showing you 5 ways to wear a kimono. There’s actually 6 but I’m not about to put on a swim suit right now so you get 5. Just know they make great cover ups!

Everything is linked here and in the LIKEtoKNOW.it app. I always appreciate you shopping my links! Y’all are the best and so supportive!

My first way is of course casual. I’m loving distressed jeans lately and maybe it’s because I was never allowed to wear them and now I do. I have no idea. But I think a pair of distressed jeans look great with this kimono. AE has some really cute jeans including skinny, flare, bootcut, mom jeans, tomboy jeans. I think they would all look great!

For a super casual look, I’m wearing a pair of sandals with a white tank. My tank was from last year but any white tank would work. I also think converse would be cute too with a cute messy bun.

Next is this cutie! Same jeans and tank just added some cute brown wedges and a tan hat. Not many people can wear a hat in my part of the world without it blowing away, but for you lucky ones this would be cute! Great for a date night out to dinner and brunch with your girlfriends. This would even be cute for a shower or church.

This outfit here is a fav of mine! I think this would be so cute for a concert or just out shopping. Bro can take me on a date in this anytime! If you live somewhere in the south then I’m sure your first thought was to throw on a pair of boots and call it good! I think knotted tank would also look super cute!

This way is great for right now. It’s still a bit cool outside for shorts but these bootcut jeans still make a statement! Keep that hat on if you don’t have wind probs and pair it with some cute booties and you’re set! Once it starts getting warmer you can trade out those booties for some wedges. Super cute and fun! Great for church, showers or work (if you can wear this type of outfit to work)

Last but not least is this style. Please excuse the mirror. I literally cleaned it before this try on. Who knows… Anyways, I used to wear this dress to work all the time. Loved it! But I really wish I would of had a cute kimono to change it up a bit. This outfit would be cute for everything! Work, church, showers, weddings, date nights and shopping. You can dress it up with wedges or down with converse or sandals. This outfit would be super cute for a pregnant momma too! I wore this dress several times while pregnant and would of loved this kimono to add.

Well that’s it. Don’t forget you can pair it with a cute swimsuit too! Down below, I’m going to link a few more cute kimonos! Check them out and see what you like!

Have a great day!
