It’s definitely February in the Panhandle of Texas! That means it’s a weird time around here where you don’t really know what to wear. Most of us are over this winter and the winter style. Around here it never snowed and it never rained. Which is kind of strange and of course our wheat looks so bad. But enough of the weather talk because I know we are all excited for SPRING!
So here are a few items I’ve been looking at and some that I have purchased. It’s easier now to shop maternity since my belly finally popped and I can relate more to the models. But I will link some things that you don’t need a belly for yet in case you are in your first trimester or beginning of your second.
I’m going to start first with a dress I purchased from Old Navy. If you know me, you know I love PINK! I also have this dress in non-maternity and in 3 colors. I plan on wearing this to my sister’s baby shower the first of March. This dress also comes in 2 other colors.
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a dress similar to this at Motherhood but it is about $30 more there.
The second thing I’ve ordered that goes along with this dress is this cardi. Also from Old Navy. I’m not sure what the Dallas weather will be the first of March but I know this light weight cardi will work perfect!
Next I’m sharing some shoes that are back in style this year. The original shoes are around $170 but this mom is on a budget so I’m sharing the pair I got for $32. These wedges are great quality and are true to size. They are the perfect shift into spring. I have these in black too!
Another great place to shop maternity is Gap. This off the should top comes in black and in white! I love a good black top with white jeans or a cute white top with either jeans or some colored pants. This top is currently on sale for $18!!
Ok last one for today. This next top is from Red Dress Boutique. (Same place as the shoes) Red Dress has a lot of really cute light weigh sweaters that are lose and long. Perfect for any trimester. This dusty blue sweater is not maternity and no they don’t sell maternity but I do love their stuff! I have found several things that would be perfect to transition into fall with. Their prices are also pretty good and their clothes are great quality. This top is currently $36.
Well that is all I have time for today. If you are just needing a few new staple pieces in your wardrobe I believe these could be them! I know its hard to find cute everyday fashion in maternity so I’m going to leave a few of my favorite places to shop.
Loft, Old Navy, Gap, Red Dress Boutique, and Dillards.
Ya’ll have a great day!
