I posted this on my Instagram and talked about a goal of mine. Something I’ve always wanted was a six pack! But that’s now not my only lifestyle goal.
Now that I’m a super cool new mom again, it’s more important for me to keep my body healthy and fit! I need to make sure I’m nourishing my body and giving my baby everything he needs. Aka, the MILK! Y’all he’s 8 weeks and I’m still trying to figure out the calorie intake and amount of water I’m needing to provide enough! I’ve always had a hard time eating enough calories unless you take me to Whataburger then I can meet any calorie goal!! So anyways my goals for calories is to get at least 1700 calories. Let me tell you, it’s super hard for me! I’ve seen many moms talk about how they have to eat 2,000-2,200 calories to keep their bodies going, produce enough milk and lose the baby weight! So this week I will be working hard to meet this one goal! You can follow along on my instastories to see how I’m doing.
My other goal is to get back in shape! I had to stop my workouts early on in pregnancy because I was soooooo sick! I lost all my muscle the first trimester and now I have no butt! So my goals for getting back in shape is walking pretty much everyday, do my 3 workouts a week and not sit so much. Benton loves for me to strap him on using our boppy wrap and walk while he naps.
My last goal isn’t just the workouts or the food. It’s about loving myself and my body. Self love is what will help anyone achieve their lifestyle goals! I don’t want to look in the mirror and speak negatively over my body, I want to look in the mirror and see a body that has changed and has had two babies! I want my sweet b to see her mom love herself and b happy with life. I want her to grow up knowing that’s she’s beautiful! My mom always told me I was so pretty and gave me the confidence I always needed. Now she did tell me to suck it in when I needed it but I’m grateful for that!
So what am I doing to help me with my goals? What tools will I use? First off I’m doing fitnesscarli’s meal plan. You can find her on Instagram. She makes meal planning sooo not stressful! For my workouts I’m doing BBG. She also has an app called the sweat app. I did bbg last summer and felt the strongest I’ve ever felt. Lastly, I’m writing down my goals at night for the next morning. Im writing out meals and my goals/check list for the next day. I love it. It helps me stay organized!
