Yo girl hit up Old Navy yesterday to see their spring collection! Let me tell you, I found some great piece with lots of ways to wear them all! So get ready!!
I went a lot of basics this time and hopes that you can see all the ways you can wear just one thing! At the beginning of spring, I like to wear a lot of denim and blues and whites! This year I do plan on throwing some pink in there because I love it! But I really think green is becoming a great color to wear when transitioning into spring! Also, for you casual workers, teachers and really everyone, I’m throwing on some dresses too! Even breastfeeding friendly!
First up is this dress! I seriously fell in love with this dress! You can pair it with so many things! Here I have it alone, with a denim jacket around it and a grey sweater. I think you could pair it with a black sweater too! For shoes I would say a cute pair of flats or some brown wedges! If you’re really feeling crazy, you can just add on a belt! To make this dress super casual, pair it with a denim jacket and converse! Super cute!! I’m wearing a size medium in everything.
Next is this fun black swing dress! Super comfy material! Great for work, church, weekend outfit or even a pregnant momma! You can dress this baby up or down depending on what you’re doing. I think it would be cute with a denim jacket/sweater, wedges and maybe a cute floppy hat! Or dress it down with converse and a denim shirt tied around the waist! Wait… don’t forget the cute baseball hat! This dress comes in other colors and designs. I’m wearing a medium but you could go down a size for a tighter fit.
My mom told me to try this sweater on and I’m so glad I did! Super soft inside and very flattering on the outside. You can wear this with leggings, jeans, white jeans or shorts! I would probably pair my converse with this outfit or a pair of flip flops. But for right now, a pair of denim jeans with my converse. If you like their pixie pants (cute for work) you could pair it with a cute pair of navy pixie pants and wear this cutie to work! Who said you can’t be comfy at work?? Wearing a size medium and a size 4 in shorts.
Who loves pink?? That would be a “me me me!” I saw this top right when i walked in the store and loved it! A classic pop of color in a classic top. It also comes in grey and white stripped. I’ve paired it here with some shorts, even though it’s tunic length. You can also pair it with jean or these cute white jeans. I think white jeans seem to make things classier. This just seems like a very southern outfit to me. Wearing a size medium in tunic top and a size 4 regular in the jeans.
I think a good chambray button down is important to everyone’s closet! My daughter even has one. This one is a good one and I love the wash on it. You can use these as a shirt, waist tie, jacket or a swimsuit cover up. You can pair it with some black jeans, light colored jean shorts, cute colored jeans or shorts, or my favorite, white jeans! Super classy! I stuck a cute cardigan on and instantly reminded me of a teacher or anyone who likes to wear denim. In the last picture I thought I had grabbed a camo shirt but I guess I didn’t. This would look cute with almost any color under it. This top is great to wear all year round! Wearing a medium
When I look at this top I see a classy top that could also be a beach vaca top! You could use this top as a cover up or pair it with white or denim jeans. If it’s colder around you then you can wear a jacket or cardigan with it. All these buttons are functional so great for breastfeeding! If you’re pregnant, just size up! It’s long enough to cover that belly! wearing a size medium.
Here is another cute chambray dress that is a bit over size super cute for work, date night, church, and showers! You can wear a cute cardigan, wedges or flats with this! I’m also linking the same dress in a short sleeve version. This is a great dress to wear now through the fall! Since it’s a bit over sized, it would be great for pregnancy and even postpartum. Wearing my normal medium.
Now last but not least is this adorable dress! It is 3/4 sleeves with a stretchy waist. Cuts off just at my knee and would be super cute with brown or white wedges! The bottom half of lined and the buttons are useable! This dress is great for work, church, showers, and breastfeeding mommas! You could pair it with a denim jacket or cardigan. I’m going to link a similar one here that is more of a wrap dress but same fabric! I’m also linking 3 little girl dresses to match! Y’all know I love matching my girl! Baby, Toddler, Girls.
Well that’s it! I hope I gave y’all some great ideas on ways to wear pieces in different ways! Basics for the closet are great!
